Latest reviews of Expen$e Reports - Record, Photo, and Share Expe... app for iPhone and iPad

Mr
Looks good and seems to work good but when you take a pic of the reciept it is blurry a bit. So when you try to zoom in using your fingers it wont zoom so the picture isnt that helpful if you have to return an item. When you take the pciture you can zoom in and its quite clear but thats while its still in the edit mode. Once it is placed in the expense record it cant be zoomed or enhanced. So its pretty much useless for a pic of your receipt.
Perfect for quick n dirty personal budget tracking
This was the only app that seemed to do what I want anywhere in the app store, and it seems to do it pretty well. I want to track personal expenses on a weekly/monthly basis, and have no need to keep receipt photos or anything like that but do want to know where my cash goes. You can create your own categories, input expenses pretty easily and intuitively, and see categorized rollups of where all the money went. My intent is to keep a rolling total monthly to ensure I stick to my budgeted amounts in various categories, then reset for the next month. I havent yet used the Share function, but that might be nice for putting into Mint at the end of each month.
Ability to sort ?
The app is very simple to use although the ability to sort by date or location would be very helpful. As it is the date isnt even in order. I hope you make it in this space .. I like 80% of it.
Overall easy and straight forward, but ....
Missing a couple of major things and one very poorly implemented feature which are key for travelers- 1. Must be able to create a trip ID and associate expenses to a particular trip. This is not possible in current version. 2. Support for major currencies is a must to appeal to business travelers Poorly implemented : 1. I love the ability to take a picture of my receipt, but ... Currently the picture you take is compressed down so far in size and quality - its unreadable. Fix these things and the app would have broad appeal for business travelers. Otherwise very simple and easy to use, everything is stored locally - which is why this application attracted me as a business traveler in the first place. But in the end its completely unusable as when I send in my expense report, via email, the format is very poor, and the pics of the receipts are unreadable. Would appreciate if the above is addressed in the next version of the software.
Good but lacking
Good app, but too simple. Can not name the reports, or make multiple reports at the same time. No where to save a report to edit at a later date. Good app just lacking so much.
